The Three Little Pigs and the Holy Spirit
I'm a catechist at Resurrection Catholic Church, and as part of this year's Confirmation prep for the 9th graders, I'm doing a presentation on the "four pillars of the Catechism:" the Creed, the sacraments, morality, and prayer. As I was pulling together my resources for this presentation, I came across this classic interpretation of the Big Bad Wolf and the Three Little Pigs:
At about the 2:08 mark in the video, as the little smart little pig finishes the chimney, a big 'ol bird slaps him away and builds her nest.
Yep. That's how the Holy Spirit works in my life: She sleepily watches me from a nearby tree as I build my little house, and when she's ready, she'll knock me out of the way to make her nest.
