I read this following quote from Saint Charles Borromeo this morning:

The Church asks us to understand that Christ, who came once in the flesh, is prepared to come again. When we remove all obstacles to his presence he will come, at any hour and moment, to dwell spiritually in our hearts, bringing with him the riches of his grace.

What obstacles to Christ's presence do you need to remove from your heart?

What would be different if these obstacles were removed? How would you be different?

What are some practical, concrete steps you can take to remove those obstacles?

This Advent, let us spend time talking to God about the obstacles we place in Christ's path. May God give us the grace to remove them.
